Really enjoyed my visit here. The owner was so friendly and the winery is so beautiful and cute. The wine was very good and made me fall in love with Portuguese wine. If you visit any winery in Douro Valley make sure you out this one on the top of your list.

Phenomenal Views while sipping superb wine. Only difficulty was getting to the vineyard. I tried to go up Route 322 in a mini Fiat 500 and almost made it to the winery, but sadly fell 50m short of the top of the hill. Had to abandon the car and walk up the rest of the way. Route 585 is DEFINITELY the way to go!!! Visited twice and will return when in Douro valley.

We loved our visit at this gorgeous winery! My fiance proposed at one of the stunning scenic spots and it was just perfect! The wine was delicious and the scenery was even better. We bought a bottle of the port home to celebrate with. Just a gorgeous engagement story and the family that runs the winery was so lovely on celebrating us! They helped with some beautiful photos and were so sweet. Highly recommend visiting!

About us

Quinta do Jalloto is a forth-generation family-run vineyard and winery that has been in operation since 1873. Our 20-hectare (50-acre) property produces a range of wines, including White’s, Rose, and primarily Red wines. In addition to our vineyard, we also have over 150 year old olive groves that produce Extra-Virgin Olive Oil. We are also beekeepers as a hobby. Beekeping for the last 20 years now. Our beehives collect a beautifull nectar from flowers all around Douro Valley area.
